I've suffered from intonation headaches with my Les Paul. It's been sent to other shops for repair but still never came back with satisfying intonation - especially when playing open chords. After a bit of research I decided to have the Buzz Feiten Tuning System installed. Leonard Talked me through the key points and was realistic in his assessment. I must say the BFTS and Leonard's set up Have made a world of difference! I don't have to wince on open D chords and the intonation is clean in all positions, which is a remarkable result. The LP plays great and sounds better. If you're on a never-ending intonation spiral I would recommend a BFTS installation and set-up by Leonard.
I also asked Leonard to perform the works on my 70's Strat: replace all frets and get it set up just right. The guitar feels great and plays magnificently! Leonard set it up according to how I wanted it to play and it has never played this well.
